Pre-order Items? - Guild Wars Forums

So every once in a while I read something that catches my attention. After countless hours of mostly reading to what you guys post here I come across a Thread that was asking where to get a ITHAS bow. What????

You can get promotional items by pre-ordering?? OMG! Plus I read in wiki that in Korea they had a Coca Cola promotion where you could win rare Items by getting one of those lucky bottle caps that don't say "Sorry Play Again To Win" and would reward you with items for GW. Cool!!

So if this has been done before, what can be expected for the new release of GW by pre-ordering? Anything? Does anyone know?

the only thing official so far is that each of the two new professions will receive some item

Yeah Itha's Bow was a preorder bonus for people who preordered the original game from EB games. I believe there were a few other stores that had the Itha's Bow as well. Different stores gave you different special items. They come customized so you can't sell em, you can't salvage em but you can constantly get new ones of them if you destroy or give them away. The command was /presell in game to get a new one.

my preorder from gogamer.com gave me a Canthan Targe. A shield with a cool unique skin and some strange/interesting stats.
